Here are some of the things we’re working on in the next 2 weeks:
User needs: training
We’re pleased to say that so far more than 400 people have completed their user needs training. There are more sessions scheduled and we’re keen for any agencies who’ve recently finished their discovery process to attend. We recently welcomed the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and Her Majesty's Nautical Almanac Office to Aviation House for their training.
User needs workshops
We’re working with agencies and arm’s length bodies to help categorise and analyse data in preparation for user needs workshops. Currently, we have 6 user needs workshops that have been run recently, or are scheduled for the next two weeks:
- Intellectual Property Office
- Companies House
- Highways Agency
- Standards and Testing Agency
- National College for Teaching and Leadership
- Education Funding Agency
Follow-up sessions
After user needs workshops we have follow-up sessions to talk through questions and discuss any further insights from the workshop. In the next fortnight, we have follow-up sessions booked with the Tribunal Procedure Committee, the Official Solicitor and Public Trustee, the Parole Board and the Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman.
Build phase
We’re working with the Government Actuaries Department, Treasury Solicitors Department and Bona Vacantia in the build phase of the transition project. Amy Wagner wrote about the new stages and cycles of the transition programme earlier this week.
If you have any questions about your transition, you can send an email to your own transition manager or make contact with the whole team at moving-to-govuk@digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk.
