From 9:33am on Monday 25 June until 5:03pm on Wednesday 27 June, authorities were unable to check the status of payments against licence applications. This did not affect the payments made by users. An incident report will be published in due course, and we will be rectifying the data this week.

Monday 18 June 2018

From 4:49pm until 7:34pm on Monday 18th June, users were unable to access the GOV.UK licensing service, including downloading forms and applying for licences. This also affected local authorities logging in to collect and manage licence applications.

Monday 21 May 2018

From 15:00 on Friday May 18th until 14:40pm on Monday 21st May email alerts for GOV.UK content changes were delayed by up to 72 hours. All emails have now been sent and content changes are now sending at a normal interval. An incident report will be published in due course.

From 18:05 until 20:00 we suffered an outage of one our databases storing GOV.UK content. This meant that a number of users would be served a error page instead of the page they requested.

From approximately 12:30 to 15:15, publishers were unable to publish new pages, resulting in broken links. An incident report will be published in due course.

From midday to approximately 6.30pm, the GOV.UK performance platform was unavailable. The problem has been resolved.

From 9am to approximately 1.30pm, Atom (RSS) feeds for travel advice suffered intermittent failures. The problem has been resolved and an incident report will be published in due course.

From 10.20am to approximately 11.35am, the GOV.UK licensing tool wasn't working. Users were unable to download or upload licence applications, and may have experienced timeouts. The problem has been resolved and an incident report will be published in due course.

From 9.45am to 1.40pm, some search results were duplicated which affected specialist documents, calculators/smart answers, HMRC manuals, travel advice. Mainstream publisher documents were not affected because they have been moved to a new index. An incident report will be published in due course.

From 4:30am to 11am, some GOV.UK pages were served from our static mirrors, and most content was missing from dynamic features such as search and finders, due to a scheduled overnight job that failed to complete correctly. Publishing was unaffected. An incident report will be published in due course.

From 8:18am to 8:55am, GOV.UK content was served from static mirrors due to an issue at one of our hosting providers. Dynamic front-end features of GOV.UK (such as search, finders, and some assets) were unavailable; publishing was also unavailable. See the incident report for further details.
