Cross-posting time

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: How we work

It's been a while since I've done one of these posts about other posts. So as it's Christmas, here's a list of things written by other people. They are interesting, I promise.

Jeni Pitkin (formerly of what was Business, Innovation and Skills) wrote about improving the 'starting a business' content with GDS.

Mike Rose of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs talked about working and communicating in the open.

Robin Whittleton explained why we use progressive enhancement when building web things.

Alan Maddrell of the Finding Things team talked about how writers across government tend to tag and categorise their content.

Graeme Claridge, GOV.UK content team person, wrote a post with the Ministry of Defence about buffing up our military medals content.

Emma Maxim, also of Finding Things, wrote about contextual user research, and how it's evolved for testing GOV.UK.

And finally, Mat Moore explained how we've been making search work better behind the scenes.

Enjoy!
